Top 30 returning DIII position players

Buckeye State Baseball is proud to announce the 30 returning Division III position players to watch in 2010. Ohio is home to 21 Division III schools, representing four athletic conference; the Ohio Athletic Conference, the North Coast Athletic Conference, the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference, and the University Athletic Association.

From season to season you will be able to find Ohio as home to many of the nation’s top team, as evident by Wooster’s 2009 National Runners-up and Marietta’s 2006 National Championship. While in taking a look at year All-Region and All-American teams, Ohio can boast to having the nation’s elite roam its diamonds.

Here at BSB we hope in highlighting these players you can have an appreciation of the talent in the state. Also, for the players who perform at the high levels maybe a chance to have their name and game exposed to a crowd they might not otherwise. As well as continued of providence of the best coverage of Ohio collegiate baseball.

The 30 positional players will be in alphabetical order by last name. It does perhaps take some suspense and discussion away from the list, but it would be unjust for me to rank individually the players without extensive coverage. If you’re wondering about the pitchers do not fret, come the new year, the top 10 returning Division III pitchers to watch in 2010 will be announced daily.
