Ohio is home to three elite programs, two that started the season as regional favorites and potential World Series champions and a third of national notoriety that has won a championship as recently as 2006.
By now you surely know of the talent and ability that runs top to bottom on the Wooster and Heidelberg rosters. While we here at BSB take you closer to the teams than anyone, those around the nation continue to sing high praise of our Buckeye State programs.
While Wooster continues to close in on defending national champs St. Thomas for the top spot, a fast 7-1 start by the Student Princes has propelled them to a #3 national ranking on the heels of their Ohio rival. Oh and don’t forget mighty Marietta who checks in at #13.
With spring trips wrapping up and conference play beginning in a few weeks, the entire poll which follows, shows this spring is one for the ages in Division III here in Ohio.
